De Sus a pour vocation de r\u00e9pertorier les paysages de montagne des Carpates Occidentales au travers des saisons afin de permettre et encourager diverses pratiques physiques et sportives outdoor (escalade, randonn\u00e9e, VTT, ski de randonn\u00e9e).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

“Apart from being wild and mysterious, our carpathian forests also hide a certain number of beautiful mammals known as large carnivores: wolves, bears and European lynx. Their presence is favoured by the existence of large surfaces of natural woodland, by the \u201cnot so high\u201d number of people actually living in Romania, and probably the most important, by the sense of space most of these people still preserve in their heads, and that I call a preference for freedom instead of security.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As a consequence, the presence of wildlife is something you feel constantly while hiking these mountains, accompanied by another very precious feeling: that of the lack of borders to these wild spaces. And that makes this wilderness in the heart of Europe unique for us: five minutes away from a sunny meadow where a twelve year old girl rakes the hay, lies THE FOREST: deep, wild, never ending, mysterious, teeming with old gods, like bears and wild boars and eagles.\u00a0 To fully understand what we talk about, better be around in December or March, when the snow is here: it\u2019s the animal tracking season.”

Andrei Nutu-Manea<\/h2>\n

Born in Piatra-Neamt on the 5th<\/sup> of October 1979, in the Eastern Carpathians of Romania,\u00a0Andrei was a member of Neamt County Mountain Rescue Team between 1996 and 2000.\u00a0National Tourist Guide since 2002, he graduated from the Law School at Bucharest University in 2003.\u00a0He has been a sport climbing coach since 2008 and a\u00a0Mountain Guide since 2014.<\/p>\n

Andrei\u2019s biggest interest lies in developing rock climbing first ascents, an activity to which he is profoundly dedicated since the end of 1990\u2019s.<\/p>\n

The second most important for him comes the offpiste skiing, a passion that has constantly grown in the last ten years, especially since teaming with and learning a lot from Nicolae Durnac, also part of De Sus.<\/p>\n
